Mancubus Down

from Zombie Soldiers OST by Onslaught Six

Archives exclusive

about

I finished Mancubus Down around May 2009, when the film began shooting. It basically mutated into being the overall "theme" for the movie.

This version became the basis for the 2010 remix featured on the upcoming Angel Arm EP.

lyrics

This is my favourite game
I'm sitting here again
Repeating the refrain
Changing again, the same

Bent into a new shape
One that I never liked
Taking a mental hike
Follow the red tape

Deep inside my mind is a place I don't ever wanna go
Staring at the wall knowing more than I ever wanted to know
Buried in an avalanche of thoughts, not who I want to be
Somewhere inside this chaos hides someone I used to think was me

Yesterday had a plan
Something to do
Maybe with you
But now here alone I stand

Tomorrow comes a new thought
A change is needed
The thought is seeded
That sounds fair

Deep inside my mind is a place I don't ever wanna go
Staring at the wall knowing more than I ever wanted to know
Buried in an avalanche of thoughts, not who I want to be
Somewhere inside this chaos hides someone I used to think was me

[Keeping the dream alive
Shielded from the outside
Sleeping inside your mind
Hiding inside your hive]

Deep inside my mind is a place I don't ever wanna go
Staring at the wall knowing more than I ever wanted to know
Buried in an avalanche of thoughts, not who I want to be
Somewhere inside this chaos hides someone I used to think was me
